TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

ASC software is supported on several Windows operating systems, including Windows 2000 Professional, XP Professional, and Windows 2000 or 2003 Server Editions.  Networks can be configured for local or wide area support for multiple stores.  ASC products use efficient thin-client systems for multiple store operations and offer several network architecture solutions for single-location networks.

In addition, ASC applications:
  • Are built on a 32-bit Windows architecture with true Client/Server multi-tier architecture 
  • Utilize  the  Pervasive SQL database which  supports open standard ADO or ODBC access and allows  full access to your data via third party tools.
  • Support thin client workstations for efficient wide area networking and low maintenance local support.  
  • Make use of standard HTML menus enabling customers to create their own customized menus. 
  • Use open standards wherever possible, providing a wide choice of hardware solutions.
  • Support a variety of specialized peripherals for physical inventory, bar coding and Point of Sale.
